She's had 9 pages of comments so far, but in case some of you missed it, this is just a brilliant encapsulation of fandom, imo:

Fandom is focus. Fandom is obsession. Fandom is insatiable consumption.

In particular "Fandom is finally calling yourself a writer" rings very true for me...
