*sigh*

Dear Goddess/Gods,

No one else is allowed to get sick or injured, ok? Please? I'm tired of this. I don't know what you're trying to teach me, but bloody well stop it, all right?

Disgruntled,

-Salix

So yeah. First my dad. Then my grandmother has some weird blood clot-stroke thing. Then husband gets a nasty cold for a week. And now my dog has something stuck in his lungs.

I'm sure every parent out there laughs at this comparison, but I really do think having a dog is like having a kid. At least, it's the closest I will ever come. I didn't sleep at all last night because he made that cacking/barfing noise almsot every hour, trying and failing to cough somehting up. Then I would just lay there listening to him breathe, just in case he stopped. And now he's at the vet's for the day and I'm still scared. Plus it's so bloody expensive. Of course he's worth it, but still - not an expense we'd planned for this month, right before xmas, you know?

I guess I have 6 hours to sleep and try not to fret. I'm just so tired of worrying about others' physical well-being, you know? Stop that, Universe. Please. I'm tired of this fear. I want my baby dog to be ok again.

Planning on it yes, although the finances are stretched tight at the moment, they should hopefully stretch that far. ;-p

Unless something's come up on your end and it's inconvenient?

Nope - we would both love to have you visit! :)

I'm already looking forward to it. My little sister is very jealous. ;p
