In other news, I wanted to buy 3 pairs of totally hot shoes today, but only bought one. And found a corset I wanted, but, alas, not in my size. I might be stuck ordering one from ebay, which always makes me nervous. Other items on list were acquired. ;)

Also, why is twincest so incredibly hot when other incest gives me massive heebie jeebies? Across all fandoms, even.

Finally, I have officially hit an age where I see cute young boys and think "ooh, pretty" but have no urge whatsoever to touch. Or really even see naked. Or sweaty. Much. Er, often. I mean, uh... *dig self deeper* Oh, you know what I mean. Boys under 18 (or even early 20s) just do nothing for me in the actual fantasizing department. I just want to frame them and drool a bit...

And finally for reals finally - my swords and armor catalog came today. Usually, I'm drooling over the blades. This time, the boys holding them. Can we can "ovulating"? Time to go attack the husband...

I think the distinction in my mind between twincest (or brothers) and other incest is one of power. Twins are the same age and sex - in slash at least - so you don't have the same issues of power and coercion that you have with other incest. And it gives me the heebie jeebies as well, although you have better reason.

Cute young boys... There are a number of women on my flist older than you who like those nubile young creatures. I like to look, but can't imagine much more. I like power and wisdom and that takes a few more years...

Ovulating... Yup. I'm a few days away, but yes my interest picks up about now. Go find hubby...

*nods* I think it's the power thing, too, and the assumption that that's not there in twin dynamics. Which I gather from hanging aorund actual twins is totally not true, but well, whatever. Fantasy life is easier. ;)

We currently only have it in a 34 :( But the company (I looked it up at work) is called Empire Intimates, but I can't find a website for you. Though when browsing for it sold Empire in larger sizes. I just couldn't figure out how to work the webpages >.<

You know, I may just ask my boss if we have one at our other store... Because it could be returned if it didn't fit, yes. Two weeks, no sign of wear, tags attached, etc

In the incest realm within the LotR fandome, I generally stick with Elladan/Elrohir. I *did* read Helena's Bean-cest offering and I thought she did an excellent job with all the psychological issues in that particular story. And I once read an Eomer/Eowyn fic that we pretty good. :)

So, yeah, that doesn't really answer the question of why twincest is generally much more appealing than any other kind of incest. (Ooh - I almost forgot that I *wrote* Troy-cest, with Hector and Paris. Silly me.) Hmm, still not addressing the question at hand, though.

I'll go with "I don't know."

Younger men/boys ... my favorite Orlando is Ned Kelly-era Orlando. He's so grown up now and is still enjoyable, but there's something about the way he looked then that sends shivers down my spine. (The good kind of shivers!)

In LOTR, I mostly stick to Elladan/Elrohir with occasional forays into Boromir/Faramir, but those get so angsty that I usually can't handle them. No other incest for me, thanks. But I also read Fred/George in Harry Potter and now Connor/Murphy in Boondock Saints... There seems to be a "thing" with twincest being hot. For me, anyway. *blush*

Despite him being younger than me, Orlando never seems "young" to me - I guess I don't think of a 4-5 year age difference as that off-putting. 15 years, though - that's disturbing.
