I am so in love with young Severus, and thus with my icon.

I would feel bad about the underage thing, and sometimes I still do, but I recently realized that I do not visualize any of the boys as actual underage high school students. I know this because I drive past a high school almost every day and *wow* are those boys not sexy. Neither are my friends' teenage sons.

But I went to and worked on a college campus for years and that's what I see when I think of Marauders-era Severus, Remus, Sirius, and James or the "current" Harry and Draco -- at least 19-21 year old bodies, even if the story is set at Hogwarts while they're in school. I'm thinking it's like porn - everyone says they're "barely legal" but every is quite nicely of legal age.

Also - yum. How can you not love broodyangstyemo!boys?

Young Severus reminds me of some of the gothboys I used to hang out with in my teens. Ah, memories.
