Two Squirrels Fucking

Spring has officially sprung, a bit earlier than usual, with record highs yesterday of 78 and today about the same. The incessant rains stopped a week ago and the forest is covered with blossoms - redwood sorrel, wild rosemary, wild sweet peas (or vetch - not sure), miner's lettuce, forget-me-nots, wild strawberry, lupine (Lupin! *g*), and borage, and of course a million other green growing things that don't flower - grasses, ferns, shrubs, and treelings. Once I get the camera working, I shall inflict pictures upon you all. (Don't worry, it will all be under cuts.)

Spring has sprung in the critters, too. I actually saw two grey squirrels in the trees this afternoon making a lot of noise and... wrestling?... Nope. Definitely fucking. To the background of a million other squirrels around them, flirting/chittering/hoping to score. *g* Soon, the roads will be littered with roadkill as the boys try to dash across the street to hook up with the hottie girl squirrels on the other side.

And the other critters are at it, too... Girls in bikini tops and cut-offs, boys playing tennis and volleyball topless, wearing shorts so loose they look like they could fall off if you stare hard enough (*stare*), miles and miles and miles of taut flesh everywhere...

Hm. I think my lust came back.

Better get back to writing!
