reflecting
Apr. 17th, 2004 02:57 pmI totally spaced it, but yesterday was my livejournal's birthday. One whole year of my rambling, pointless posts.
But I've always had a diary/journal, and I like the interactive feature of LJ. I started this journal to chat with
olivia_lupin and
maruchina who I am still thrilled to count among my friends. Over the year, I've added and dropped a million people (mostly slash authors I squeed over) and changed fandoms (mostly). My purpose when I started all of this was to have a place to babble about fannish stuff, since I couldn't tell any of my friends what a fangirl I'd turned into and was boring my beloved husband to death. It's turned out to be a great community, as well as a good place for solitary reflection.
So: Happy Birthday, my LiveJournal. May you live a long a entertaining life! *pop champagne cork*
(And I've finally decided to pay for LJ. Now I just need some more icons and stuff...)
