Note to self: When you're writing and it's not going well and you don't like it, STOP FUCKING WRITING! It comes out all wrong and is a real bitch to re-write later.

Also: Reread your outline/notes BEFORE you start doing "research." Otherwise you'll spend the evening reading BDSM educational books and then discover 3 hours later that you were looking at the wrong stuff. Very educational all the same, though. ;)

I always find it very odd when people post cryptic comments about various unnamed people in the fandom being complete twits. Why do I never see these flamewars? Are there vital lists and communities I should be part of? Am I missing out on something good???????

Or am I lucky that I'm clueless and should stop seeking to change that?

But how else will I become a Big Name Fan unless I start getting involved in these ethernet fisticuffs over why Orli and Viggo ARE SO OBVIOUSLY TRULY IN LUV 4EVER AND EVER N EVER N EVEH OMG YESS!!!!! And those who deny their love are WRONGWRONGWRONG?????

Oh right. I'm not a BNF and probably won't ever be. Which makes it a lot less likely that I'll get tossed out on my ass for my heretical beliefs some day. OK then, nevermind. ;)
