plugged up ears help plea
Apr. 16th, 2005 07:40 pmI'm back. We cut the vacation short (I'll inflict pics upon you later) because my cold just kept getting worse and it was SO FUCKING DRY up there, at about 6000 feet. My nose and lungs felt like I was inhaling smoke all the time and I couldn't sleep at all.
Did get a fair amount of fic reading done and finished off the last Lord Peter Wimsey book, though. So it was relaxing, if not totally physically comfortable.
Driving back down from the mountains, though, one ear refused to pop. I can't hear anything out that ear at all and the pain is driving me crazy. I've tried yawning, gum, steam, and plugging my nose and "blowing" out my ears, and still can't get that one to pop. Anyone have any suggestions? If this doesn't fix itself by tomorrow I'm going to have to go to a doctor - I get randomly dizzy and nauseous every time I walk at a normal pace.
