to flag or not to flag
Nov. 30th, 2007 04:35 pmAfter playing with the setting and checking out what it looks like if you're
a) me
b) someone else with an over-18 age statement
c) not logged in
d) someone without an age statement
I've decided to go ahead and flag my whole journal. Hopefully this means I can relax about whether or not I'll eventually get booted off LJ for writing porn and not f-locking my journal or checking for age statements on people who friend me.
I figure that:
a) I am an adult. I talk about adult things. My journal's not really appropriate for anyone under 18, especially if they can't be bothered to lie about it.
b) If you're logged in and have an age statement saying you're over 18, it doesn't look any different at all. That's the majority of my readers/friends, so it should be fine.
c) I have seriously been paranoid that I'd just wake up one day and find I'd been deleted. I know I'm not a BNF but hey, paranoia is, by definition, not rational.
So anyway. Flag = yes. At least until I change my mind... ;)
