Today's is in honor of a dear friend whose birthday was yesterday. The things she has accomplished in her life baffle, amaze, and inspire me. She not only makes me want to be a better person, but makes me believe that I can be.

I need ONE good, under 10k Arthur/Merlin fanfic. I'd prefer it if the guys are a bit older (and a bit smarter) than they seemed on the show. Contemporary AU is all right, just rec me soemthing GOOD.

Note: I am not looking to get into this fandom, I just think these guys might be the pairing-type I need for the new short story I'm working on and would like a reference. :)
