Pervy Slash Whore

Disclaimer: I am a complete slash whore. I will read any pairing and I mostly only read NC-17 fics. I avoid Het and Gen like they're toxic. Usually. I've tried to include some comments about what I liked about a fic, but sometimes what I liked is that I got off on it and well, um, that's about it. Some of this stuff gets mighty kinky, and I've tired to include some kind of warning.

Sorted by Pairing

Aragorn/Legolas
Legolas/Eomer
Boromir/Faramir

Multiple Pairings in the same story/series

Aragorn/Legolas

Title: The Question at Forehead Space
Author: Belinda, Doom's Eyebrow
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Elves, you know? They're hundreds or even thousands of years old. They sleep with their eyes open, *if* they sleep -- frequently they just stand around all night, still and straight, waiting for the sodding humans to wake up and get on with it. They're just bloody weird, really. Aragorn, travelling with Legolas, is reminded all over again."
My Comments: Aragorn's inner thoughts just make me giggle.

Title: The Descending Darkness series at Of Elves And Men
Author: Dhvana
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas, with a few others at various points
Rating: NC-17
my Summary: The story of Estel/Aragorn and Legolas' friendship and romance over Aragorn's lifetime.
My Comments: Angsty and sweet and I sobbed like a babe when it was done.

Title: Masque at The Doors of Whitemoon Tower
Author: Erutaliance
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "An erotic tale involving a masque ball, a beautiful Elven prince, and the handsome King of Men. What magic will the mystery of a masque weave for Aragorn and Legolas?"
My Comments: An interesting vision of what life in Gondor is really like.

Title: Wicked Game at The Doors of Whitemoon Tower
Author: Erutaliance
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Legolas wants to play a wicked game with the King of Gondor. And Aragorn is just in the mood to accept the invitation..."
My Comments: I adore the opening of this, with Aragorn struggling under his kingly duties.

Title: Aniron at The Library of Moria
Author: Louise
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Legolas is lustful in Lothlorien. Pure fluff/smut."
My Comments: Sweet and fluffy and sexy.

Legolas/Eomer

Title: Horse Lord
Author: Esmeralda,
Pairing: Legolas/Eomer
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Just before following Aragorn to the Paths of the Dead, Legolas begins to understand more about the culture of Rohan."
My Comments: The characters and the dialog between them is so wonderful, humorous and hot at the same time, a perfect balance. Excellent details about Rohan.

Title: Heliotrope
Author: Haleth
Pairing: Legolas/Eomer
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "It's an old story, boy meets Elf, drinks are consumed, a confession is uttered, an invitation extended, an invitation accepted. Legolas is not quite a price. Eomer is not quite unhappy about that."
My Comments: Yum. Improper Legolas + Horny Eomer = YUM, of the panties-on-fire variety!

Title: Tactics and Demonstration at The Library of Moria
Author: Menel
Pairing: Legolas/Eomer
Rating: PG-13 and NC-17, respectively
Author's Summary: "In the after glow of celebrations in Ithilien, Legolas and Eomer discuss how to best bring down a mumak," and "For Faramir's viewing pleasure, Legolas and Eomer demonstrate how to bring down a mumak."

Author: Deanna
Pairing: Boromir/Faramir
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Denethor decrees that Faramir is to wed. Boromir disagrees, and Faramir has a secret."
My Comments: Angsty and romantic, Deanna somehow makes Bromoir/Faramir seem not only natural but inevitable.

Title: Make the World Disappear at Sweet Sorcery
Author: Deanna
Pairing: Boromir/Faramir
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "The perfect gift."
My Comments: More angst and romance.

Title: Shining One at The Library of Moria
Author: Stewardess
Pairing: Boromir/Faramir, Boromir/OMCs
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "Boromir coming of age story. Boromir finds that the battles of the heart are the most perilous. Lots of glorious angst." Warnings: mild B&D, mild non-con
My Comments: I hesitated about reccing this because it was extremely angsty and reading it really depressed/upset/whatever'd me for a bit. But then, I think any fic that such an emotional reaction is worth reccing. Just consider yourselves warned; you know what happens to Boromir in FOTR. It's a good read, and quite long.

Rating: NC-17
my Summary: Aragorn and Legloas meet at Tom Bombadil's house through the years.

Pairing(s): mostly Haldir/Legolas, with a few other pairings
Rating: NC-17
my Summary: The series covers over 500 years of friendship and severe angsty goodness between Haldir and Legolas.

Title: The Very Secret Diaries
Author: Cassandra Claire
Pairing(s): multiple implied
Rating: PG-13ish
my Summary: The innermost thoughts of the characters in the "Lord of the Rings."
My Comments: Not only have I read these over and over and over again, but I've forced non-slashers to read them or read them aloud to them. I love them. Just fucking hysterical.

Title: The Ways of Men at Sweet Sorcery

Pairing: Elrohir/Elladan/Glorfindel

Title: Elven Melodies series
Author: Lostiawen
Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas/Eomer
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "At Helm's Deep, Eomer becomes entangled in an Elvish song weaving and finds himself caught up in much more than he bargained for." Warnings: light BDSM
My Comments: Interesting dynamics between three of the sexiest males in Middle Earth. The river scene... Yum.

Hey Salix, just ran across this. I swear you and I have the same taste. "The Question" and "Horse Lords" are two of my all-time favorites. Esmeralda is a wonderful writer and a good friend. And no one beats Belinda's characterization of Legolas and Aragorn in The Question, that sense of Legolas as an other-worldly, somewhat incomprehensible being. Such spare language, so hot. I was glad to find that Eyebrow of Doom is still up. Last time I checked, it was down and couldn't be found anywhere. "Darkness Descending" is one of the first series that got me hooked on the fandom, as was "Blood, Moon, and Mithril." "Tactics" is a great hoot. And of course anything the lovely Haleth writes is superb. "Heliotrope" is another of my favs. So, I guess I should look into some of your other recs that I've somehow missed. *g*
And [blushes slightly] thanks for reccing "Ohtarnil" which was my first modest effort at a LOTR fanfic. Being a perfectionist author, I prefer the version archived at OEAM as I revised and improved it in numerous ways probably only noticeable to me. LoM was the first place I ever posted. Anyway, if you wish, here's the link to the better version: http://www.ofelvesandmen.com/StoriesbyAuthor/_Series_Fictional/Elfscribe_Series_MelethrynLegolas.htm

Cheers!

Oh, and if you haven't read any of Capella's stuff, I highly rec her Legolas/Imrahil series - here
It begins with "Sea Longing." Her "Sea of Sand" is another of my all-time favorites.

:) It's so nice when someone else shares your tastes! I confess I haven't read much/any LOTR slash in years, but I'm transfering my recs pages from my website to LJ and it's been nice to be reminded of these stories.

I've changed the link to OEAM - thanks for letting me know. Now when I have some free time, I can go back and read the "improved" version!

(And I'll check out Capella - I have those both bookmarked in my "to read" folder, but that folder is so big and just seems to get bigger every day... I'll consider this a boot in the ass to read it *soon*.)
