To be honest, graphics really bother me, largely because people don't seem to be considerate with how they use them - generally they're too large, and seeing them 20 times on my flist, with each installment, is godawfully annoying.

Well, on the plus side, the graphics in question are all for old fics, so they won't be posted all over the place, just added to existing LJ posts.

And I agree that the huge ones, and getting them more than once or twice per day, are damned annoying. Thre ought to be a guideline for maximum size to have above a cut...
