Clearly, my brain has been taken over by aliens.

Evidence #1 -

Strange, inexplicable urge to participate in challenges, such as ficrocksthe80s and snarry_swap (thank goddess I missed the cut off for snupin_santa). (links were meant for Insane Journal communities - cna't figure out how to make them work here. Clearly I need to play with semagic more.)

Didn't I swear on all that was holy that I would never ever EVER again participate in a fest/challenge/anything that compelled me to write XYZ with a deadline? Not because I don't meet the deadlines but because it makes me INSANE?

Evidence #2 -

I went to a Jazzercize class last night. It was cheezy. And it was a *hard* workout. I am so sore today.

And yet I might go back. Despite the two techno songs that were country-western.


If there's an Evidence #3, it might be time to call in Mulder and Scully to investigate... Or maybe just Scully... Yum!

Techno-country. Oh God - no!

I'm glad you missed the deadline for the challenge - though the desire to challenge yourself is probably a good sign. I'm proud of you for making it TO and THROUGH a Jazzercize class and even considering returning. I'm way too much of a sloth to even consider it. The most 'fit' friend I have does them regularly.

NO kidding. If it hadn't been near the end of the cardio part, I might have just walked out. On the plus side, I was there with a friend who gave me a very commiserating eye-roll when I glanced her way in disbelief.

I"M sitll debating the two remaining writing fests/challenges. We;ll see.

And thank you - it really truly kicked my ass, but I'm pretty proud that Imade it all the way through the class anyway.
