end of the world...
May. 15th, 2008 06:01 am1) So today I fly back home, back to Real Life and all that that entails. Blech. It was damn nice to get away from the inside of my head though. It's true that wherever you go, there you are, but it's also true that a change of scenery can help you remember who you truly are or want to be, rather than who you are day to day. I definitely need to make some changes once I get home...
2) Brick buildings everywhere! These never stopped being startling to my eyes. (Bricks + earthquakes = dumb, so we don't have too many buildings made entirely of brick in CA.)
3) Also tulips! So many colors and sizes and varieties! They were lovely, so thank you Ontario, for all the lovely tulips. :)
4) Evil Dead - The Musical = one of the best musicals I've ever seen. I laughed, I cried (mostly from the laughing), and I don't ever need to see Evil Dead, the movie.
5) Niagara Falls = wow. It's hard to explain the awe-inspiring feeling that much water rushing over the edge of a cliff can convey. Also how *wet* it is. It was amazing.
6) Last SPN tonight, apparently. I have my own predictions and no idea how right or wrong they may be, but I can pretty much bet I'll be disappointed with the "resolution" of the Dean-plot and irritated by the huge cliffhanger. So far this season post-strike has been very frustrating. I hope season 4 has a better rhythm.
7) I need to figure out what to do with my life. Overall, it's going well and I have an awful lot to be grateful for. I need to make some changes, though, because I think it could be even better.
