An anthology of short stories with a kinky edge: restraints, blindfolds, spankings, threesomes - nothing too hard-core or heavy, please. We're looking for stories that are well-developed, consensual, and focus on exploring the emotional aspects of kinky play.

Length: 5,000 - 15,000 words (manuscripts shorter or longer will be considered but will have to be extraordinary)

Submission Deadline: August 20, 2009

It's summer time, so you've got nearly three months to write some kinky fics for actual publication and cash dollars!

I'd love it if some of the writers on my f-list submitted work for this anthology - yes, I'm looking at *you* sarka, heartofslash, telesilla, arieltachna, chaosmanor, and lostiawen!

ETA: A quick glance over my flist remined me of some more of you whom I think have writen kinky play: annella, astrojen, bloominbabylon, elfscribe5, helena_s_renn, lennongirl, softbluebuddy, willowwing, icarusancalion, and probably a ton moe of you who I apologize for forgetting!

ETA2: Fan fiction converts into "real" fiction! Email me and we can discuss how shockingly easy it is to take something you've already written and alter it enough to publish!

Yay! And it is just a story - write it for you, and submit it just to see. Sometimes even the most awesome stories are exculded from an anthology because they just aren't a good fit with the rest of them or something. PLease let me know how I can cheerlead and encourage you! :)

Thank you. It's just weird taking the first genuine step in a different direction (than fandom) - it would be easier if I were an RPS writer by trade - but Tolkien's world really doesn't translate well, you know. I've read tons though, of m/m ebooks, etc. and I like where I've taken this little story so far. We'll see. Again thanks for the encouragement.

Wow, I'm flattered you thought of me but I don't think I'm capable of writing anything useful any more. My imagination has tuned out slashfic at the moment. Haven't written anything in over a year. And I hardly even read much of it any more. Sad I know, but I think it was maybe a phase that has passed. Good luck with the project anyway. :)

FPS can be significantly harder to convert. That said, Tolkien's world has become sort of a fantasy standard, so depending on how much plot you have, it might not be as difficult as you think. Good luck! :)

Well, prior stories are ok to send in, too. It doens't have to be new. I'm sorry your writing muses has gone and I will miss them, but I'm glad life is going so well for you and that you're having so much fun with the goth scene. *big hugs*
