1. The only thing I do that's remotely kitchen-witchy lately is that when I make poached eggs, I always stir the water 13 times clockwise before sliding in the eggs.

2. I have these lovely silver salt spoons from my great-grandmother. I need to find a Salt Pig or something pretty to put the salt in. The egg cup currently serving just looks silly.

3. Farmer's market strawberries are better than any food almost ever. Even chocolate.

4. I am addicted to Splenda. Sugar isn't sweet enough.

5. I need SGA icons - please point me! Rodney makes me hot and bothered. John is totally into him, in canon. I believe. Radek's accent makes me weak in the knees. ;)

6. Our 9-year anniversary celebration and weekly date night have been postponed in favor of dogsitting. After a week of yelps and whines whenever my baby moved, we took him in to the vet, only to discover that we were woefully undermedicating him. I feel like the worst mommy ever.

7. Stress + sleeping pill = massive oversleeping and dreams of losing all my books and papers in a flood and not being allowed to graduate. From high school. Dear Subconscious - that was EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO. At least dream about not graduating from your Master's program or something mroe recent, eh? And while you're at it, I'm pretty sure glue doesn't repair broken bicycles, even if you can dry them out enough.

8. Finally, I haven't done as much as I wanted to, but I *have* started the porn stars story sequel and have about 3500 words. Now that I'm not freaking out about the dog being in agony, hopefully I can double that in the next couple of days and finish before June 22. :)
