I will try, although some of the travel is "just" viiting friends, not sight-seeing. I'll try to rememebr to drag the camera out, though. :)
I defintely recommend crochet/kitting. It's easy to take with you, easy to rip out and re-use the yarn if you don't like what you made, and at the end, if all goes well, you have a scarf/hat/socks/mittens/etc! All my twitchy fretting last year turned into 12 pairs of socks, 4 market bags, 2 hats, 1 pair fingerless gloves, and a dildo cozy = Christmas presents for everyone.
