totally bummed out

So i was cleaning out my email inbox and realized that i sent VS and/or "Notes" to the Parapet, Walking the Plank, and PSA in April and never heard anything back.

i -did- get email from the Restricted Section that a discussion group for VS was created, but the story itself isn't posted. *confused*

i'm never going to be able to be a real writer, if this is how i respond to rejection.

Actually, rejection i could handle. Wondering if my email submission got lost or they haven't had time to update, or or or OR WHAT is what's driving me nuts. Outright rejection would hurt and then i'd get over it.

i hate limbo.

Walking the Plank hasn't been updated for a while - somniespherous has been busy with RL.

The Restricted Section fell far behind in their updates, and I don't know if they've caught up. One of my stories took two months to be posted, and idiotparade had the same experience.

I know PSA hasn't been updated in a while, the girl who manages the site was busy with RL. Same goes for Walking the Plank, I don't know about RS.

By the way, you could post it to the Veela Inc mailing list too, and I think there's a Snarry yahoo group, too. It's a great fic, you have to get it out to the world! :D

i can't believe i started writing VS almost a year ago... i hope the sequel doesn't take me quite so long.

then again - if it gets beyond about 30-50 pages, someone better smack me. i don't want to do another 90-pager.

stop me before i go novel-length again!
