I still haven't started my thesis. Every day I sit down at my computer after I come home from work and I read slash for hours and hours and hours, or I go to take a quick nap and wake up five hours later and am groggy all evening. WTF is wrong with me? Why can't I do this?

I've been that way with work this week. Got piles and piles...and instead of doing it, I'm reading pr0n or watching vids or writing emails. And my sister will ask me if I'm done yet and I say no...so I type two files and then find myself on LJ again...and then my work is late and even more piled up.

So you've got plenty of company at the patheticfuckingfailure table.

Umm...it's called procrastination...all slash-reading / slash-writing students suffer from it. I think it's a common tendency to rebel against writing boring crap when there's hot mansex to be had out there in the world somewhere.

I did just that with my tesis. I got distracted so bad and the more desperate, the more slash fics you find and your eyes are glued to them XD

But you can do it! The more the pressure increases, the faster you can write the thesis.

Procrastination is an amazing thing. My husband just spent the afternoon shopping for (successfully) a laptop because he figured it would motivate him to write his paper faster. O_o Jackass. His 4 page paper was due 3 weeks ago. Prof said to hand it in whenever. Another jackass. The major paper is due in a month. And it is understandable that you get distracted by beautiful hot mansex. I know I do...
