Went to my friend's house after work today and "played swishy-pokey" (fencing). Was a lot of fun, and I'm getting over my fear of poking other people. Seems I'd much rather be the pokee than the poke-er; it feels very aggressive and not-like-me. I mean, yeah, I'm a bitch, but I don't hit people. I don't even say mean things where they can hear me, usually.

NOT going to turn into a big SCA geek though, so don't worry. I don't have time for that kind of thing, and I'd much rather write porn than sew and crap. BUt I will have to make or obtain a fitted jacket (they just don't make them to fit my DDD boobs) and a hood. Probably pants to match, too. And buy gloves, nipple-armor cups (really = think Valkyrie metal cups, that you put inside the bra), a scary metal gorget for the throat. This is all in addition to the actual weaponry = rapier, dagger, main guache, cape, miniature shield thingy and on and on. (probably mangled the spelling on the french words, sorry i'm too lazy to go look them up) Oh yeah, and boots if I'm feeling like I have to be fashionable, and I'm a total BOOT WHORE, so I probably will. :)

This is going to be expensive. Thank goodness my dad said he wanted me to think of something extravagant for a graduation present.
