another craptastic day
Jun. 1st, 2005 05:10 pmWork is getting to that point where I just can't take getting so angry and upset anymore... Another few days of this and it's going to be total emotional withdrawal and back to generic "yeah whatever" cynicism. Blech.
So, since I'm sick of feeling all grumpy:
Five Good Things *Right Now*:
1. roses on my desk from a friend's garden, which my small Legolas picture appears to be looking at, which makes me giggle
2. going to see "Ladies in Lavender" with a friend in 2 hours (ok, that's sort-of "future", but not by much)
3. am still finished with school ;)
4. have a hickey in an interesting place from last night
5. am going to go *right now* and make Thai salmon for dinner, since my husband's not home (he doesn't eat fish unless it's raw and I love cooked fish)
Huh. It worked; I do feel better now.
:)

Date: 2005-06-07 02:50 pm (UTC)I can relate to that feeling! *sigh* If only we could stay at home all day and write and read and surf the net and be on lj. And not worry about money. Or our sanity. Anyway. *g*
