This one looks like a good trend, so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and hope that
chaosmanor doesn't mind, and sees this as the flattery it is intended to be and the echoing of what seemed to me a great idea:
Go on, ask me anything.

Want to know what what I wore under my graduation cap and gown?
My natural hair color? If the carpet matches the drapes?
How about sex or relationship tips?
Resources I turn to for writing kinky sex scenes?
What about my first love?
Being a bisexual/librarian/witch/geek?
My bread recipe from 3 weeks ago?
The kinkiest thing I've done/thought about/written?
Writing hints? Life experiences? How old I am? My honest opinions of certain fics?
Thanks to
lennongirl's friending frenzy, I have a lot of new friends here - now's your time to ask me just about anything. The only things off limits are my name and other personal information. :) All else if fair game.

Date: 2005-06-11 10:13 am (UTC)but any that you have i'd love to know about as i recently just joined a community on lj for kink/fetishes/paraphilias
and well they accept any kink and fandom and well anything is a go there.
and all joking asside my kinks tend to be clothing or toy related rather than lyfestyle ones so any help you can give me in finding other sources would be a great help.
thanks

Who in fandom can't you live without?
What can't you stand in fandom/about fandom?
Does tinfoil look good on you? ;)
On the spectrum of fluff to non-con, what do you like to read/write?
What's the absolute most squicky pairing to you?

Chocolate. But if you meant real food, probably bread... or cheese.
Right now I'd like to be somewhere in the UK. That's my typical answer. But I'm also quite happy here on the central coast of California. :)

Date: 2005-06-11 10:30 pm (UTC)2. The Wizard of Oz, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Secret of Roan Inish, the LOTR trilogy
3. I'm not very musical... Lately I'm quite enamored of Anna Nalik's "Breathe"
4. I'm actually very happy here, on the central coast of California. Wouldn't mind giving most of England a try, though. ;)
5. Viggo... Orlando... Viggo... Orlando... Both? Probably Viggo. Although Orlando is maturing nicely. :) (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=fics_n_lube&keyword=The+Journey+is+the+Destination%3B+complete&filter=all) (http://www.livejournal.com/users/jasmineskie/70593.html) (http://www.livejournal.com/users/willowwing/2552.html)

Date: 2005-06-12 04:07 am (UTC)Where was I? Oh right - references. Well, most of my kink information is more BDSM lifestyle than specific fetishes. I'm not sure how useful this will be, but these are the online resources I use when I'm writing:
general BDSM/everything:
Jack Rinella's LeatherViews.com (http://www.leatherviews.com/cols/search2.asp)
bondage information:
The Deviant's Dictionary: Bondage Practical (http://public.diversity.org.uk/deviant/fsbdgprc.htm)
Tammad's Bondage How-To Page (http://ms.ha.md.us/~tammad/over21/bondage/) -- shibari
Shibari bondage techniques (http://restrainedtastes.com/ttt/links/asianbondtech.htm) -- lots of links
the club scene:
Dom Dominion (http://www.domdominion.com/community/bars-clubs.html) -- this site also has some great links, to sex workers and sex educators (which I'd like to do, someday) (er, the education one)
For books, I almost always turn to:
The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1890159387/ref=cm_bg_d_22/104-0723795-4055132?v=glance) by Mistress Midori
SM 101: A Realistic Introduction (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0963976389/ref=cm_bg_d_25/104-0723795-4055132?v=glance) by Jay Wiseman
So those are the tools I use... I did some searching, but I'm not sure what to point you to without knowing specifically what kind of clothing/toys you are referring to (for example, boots & gloves and dildos & nipple clamps are pretty thoroughly covered in the general BDSM links, but I suspect you mean something more non-standard than that). [You are always more than welcome to email me privately if you'd like some assistance researching a particular kink - I promise discretion and would be happy to help if none of the links here are useful.]
Finally, Essential Pervy Links (http://public.diversity.org.uk/deviant/links.htm) is a long and varied list of links.
For writing kink help... Well, I often pull inspiration from stories that I've gotten off on in the past. Not (I sincerely hope) pulling things from them, but letting positions and the order of certain acts and phrases for describing things flood in and overwhelm me, and then seeing when comes out once I get horny. ;)
Oh yeah = and a really good beta. I can't say enough words of thanks to

Date: 2005-06-12 04:09 am (UTC)Those two qualities seem to be the most vital ones in the friendships I've had that have lasted the longest. The ability to not take things personally, to have room for growth and personality changes over time -- those seem rooted in patience to me. And of course it must be paired with compassion, or why else would you be friends?

Date: 2005-06-12 04:24 am (UTC)Can't live without =
There's no one person I can't stand - I'm not that involved in fandom, I guess. Things I can't stand are the little cliques and accusations and "person Y did something mean to my friend X, so let's all comment in Y's journal and fill up yahoogroups posting about how much they suck." Yes, some people suck. But let X and Y deal with it themselves, and take your support of X to private email/locked posts, please. Flamewars are just a waste of my time.
Tinfoil - well, there *are* some bits of sparkly stuff in my lovely hat, aren't there? ;)
I read just about everything that's well written, and will read outside my comfort zone (het, non-con, pee-fic) if I trust the author. I like kinky smut with a fluffy ending best, or a straight PWP. I generally stay away from severe angst. I almost always avoid mpreg, non-con, chan, mutilation, deathfics, wingfics, and crossovers.
I write... I don't know -- how would you categorize what I write? ;) I think it's mostly the same. (I just typed "I will never write non-con" but then remembered one bunny I had, and some shades of non-con in a Harry Potter fic I wrote, so that's not true.)
Most squicky pairing - Sean Astin/anyone. *shudder* Name some specific fandoms and I can give you more. ;)
