Well, I've never written FPS before... But I can't post it to the usual places I post fics, namely fellow_shippers, more_than__mates, or orlandoslash. I mean, unless *you* know for sure that I can, but MTM says no FPS and in the others I simply couldn't find any FPS, even though it's not explicitly listed on the info page as forbidden...

*shrug*

Guess I'll post to yahoo groups.

Baby, I own the Aniron archive, www.aniron.info, and it's an auto-archive like Mirrormere and FF.net, where you can create an account and upload your own fiction, see your hit count, change your story, respond to reviews, that kind of thing. I also own the ALSLash Archive, www.geocities.com/alslashfics/. That one you have to send your submission to though, so that I can hand-code it.

That's another group I own, and while most people have left Y!G for the greener pastures of Livejournal, it's still a very active group (usually) because we hold monthly A/L fiction contests - two challenges ago, we had five categories, fiction, poetry, drabbles/ficlets, songvids, and art, and gave out actual prizes ;)

We have 1500+ members, and the ladies there are great, all very friendly with no wanking (you probably know some of them too). It's also a fairly decent group for feedback; I see more there than any other list. I'll get about a dozen comments there, which is more than I'll get from all the other Yahoo groups combined.

So, hope to see you putting some A/L up in some of those places!

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't read much LOTR-FPS, so I guess that's why I'm not part of many of those groups.

:) I put it up at Aniron! It occurred to me that I don't actually *read* very much LOTR-FPS and that's why I didn't know where to post it and wasn't part of many groups/communities that take it.

If I write one more, I'll join the yahoo group - I was trying to pair those down while I was in school, but I might have more time now that I'm finished... Theoretically, anyway. ;) I also wanted to try and write something short every month.
