ok. If I understand correctly...my favorite all time pairing would be BanaBloom...so tell me what you think about them. Second would be Orli and Viggo or Aragorn and Legolas, and third woudl be Paris/Hector. Tell me about all or one, whatever your heart desires.
And if if would help, I'd be happy to chat about any of them off LJ too.

BanaBloom - The size contrast between the bodies of these two is what I find most appealing, the wiry strength of Orlando versus the mass of Eric. When I write, I tend to let Orlando top (as you'll see in an upcoming fic), which means lots of fun with set-up and other arrangements. Plus, guh - those torsos just make me drool. Need more of this pairing, please.
Orli and Viggo - Sweetness, but sometimes too much. They seem(ed) like such good friends, very tactile, Orlando's crush on Viggo so obvious. I'm actually 100% convinced they were a couple (either in a relationship or just friends-who-fuck) in NZ during filming. And they have that delicious older man/younger man thing going which I love to read.
Aragorn and Legolas - Again, *I* think it's clear in the movies that Aragorn and Legolas had something going. Sadly, the books don't lend much weight to that. And again, I love to have the "delicate" elf top that young upstart of a man. ;)
Paris/Hector - For some reason, these siblings getting it on just makes me all hot and bothered. It's taboo, it's naughty, it's almost always got some pretty messed up power dynamics and either physical or emotional coercion... God I love it - haven't read much lately, though. Naughty and HOT. :)

I can only see them hooking up in two situations: 1) if Paris as caught and presented to Odysseus to do something with (*g*), or 2) if they met up at the end of the movie or after, once Paris has escaped and before/during/after Odysseus' journey home.
Hmm...
Will write the drabbles a bit later, when I have more time.

Harry/Snape - The first pairing that really intrigued me -- what would it take to get them both to overcome their animosity and fuck? So much anger channeled into the proper outlet and, whoo! Lets the sparks fly. Plus, who can resist writing a petulant teenager and snarky, sarcastic teacher? A pairing and dynamic that makes me swoon. Usually I like to make them wait until Harry's graduated, just to avoid the whole chan issue.
Will/Jack - Poor innocent Will and experienced, seductive Jack. Or maybe Will's not so innocent and is doing his best to get the captain to climb his mast? This pairing is the first non-HP fanfic I ever wrote (a horrid fic I never posted) and was the first step on the Great Orlando Obsession of 2001 for me. :) Jack is screamingly hot (and bi) and Will just aches to be corrupted. YUM!
Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan - UNK. Yeah, major obsession here. Calm, placid Jedi control meets unbridled, undeniable passion. God, yeah. "There is no passion" = such bullshit. There's more passion than the whole Jedi Council can even imagine, with these two. Love, love, LOVE them to death. Breaking the rules is always a turn on for me. :) Plus, more of that student/teacher dynamic.
Heh. I notice you've picked teacher/student relationships for each of these. Someone knows my kinks. ;)

Legolas and Aragorn...what's not to love. A rugged, angsted up man, and the beautiful, strong elf standing by him. That being said...I wish Arwen would go away...drives me crazy when Aragorn picks Arwen over Legolas. In my mind they have a true partnership. Each giving to the other when its needed, and taking when they need. They balance each other. Plus they are rocket hot. And I love when Legolas tops...not enough of that either.
Paris and Hector...Wise Hector and that sexy minx Paris. Paris is walking temptation...what else can Hector do but take him to bed?
*sigh* I love them all...and to be a complete pervert...I love it most when they switch who's on top in the pairing. Sometimes Eric on top, sometimes Orli...just think its hotter when they switch up...
don;t worry about the drabble:-) If you want to write it...GREAT, I'll take it! But really I just wanted to help, and to perv on the boys a bit :-)

I've never written drabbles before, so this is a difficult challenge for me. It's fun though. :)

Eric/Ewan - I've honestly *never* thought about this as a combination before... And now I can't *stop* thinking about it. Oh, how I dearly love to have Ewan physically overwhelmed by someone so much larger than he is... I think Eric really brings out the size-queen in me, not cock-size per se, but the larger, stronger, overwhelming, subtly in control even if he's letting you push him around size-queen. Wouldn't it be tasty to have Ewan top Eric? I can practically see it...

Viggo/Bean - Men. Dirty, sweaty, growling Men, arguing over jewelry. And then sharing a trailer after the make-up comes off, hanging out, talking about family and acting and drinking and rugby-tackling each other... Sure, it could be Good Old Straight Male Bonding, but it's a whole lot more fun to think they were fucking like dogs in heat when the cameras were off. Sadly, I can't remember seeing any pictures or clips of Viggo and Bean together at the premiers or anything, but they've said they were friends, and I presume they must have at least that sort of chemistry together. I love trying to figure out who would top... And if they'd have to wrestle for it... I always imagine them both enjoying the power struggle and physical challenge of restraining the other one long enough to get it in. :)
Liam/Ewan - *dies* The leap from Qui/Obi to Liam/Ewan requires no effort at all in my brain. Sadly (for them, not for me), I think I mostly envision them as their characters in SW. Or the way you have written them in "Material World." I mostly picture Ewan as very out about being bi, and Liam being very closeted and/or hiding it from his wife... I wonder what it would take for Ewan to convince him to ask Natasha if he could play? Hmmm...
Bill Fichtner/Jason Isaacs - Sadly, I can't see this one at all. I've never actually watched BHD and only know it through 's fanfic. I have trouble picturing Jason Isaacs as anything other then Malfoy. Or as the character you've created in "Material World," again. I'm just not familiar enough with either of these guys to even try a drabble for them - my apologies.
Drabbles for the others will come in the next few days.
And with men like those, why *not* be greedy?

Harry/Bill - Intriguing pairing! I never thought about this pairing much, and think I only read one fic with it, maybe by
Harry/Snape - Yum. My favorite pairing, probably. Sorry to copy-and-paste, but
Lucius/Draco - For some reason, this has always been a turn-off for me (and a slight squick, even). Parent-child incest really icks me out, and even though I can kind of see this pairing, it's all about the taboo and abuse of Draco, which I don't really like to read. I can't see it without angst and pain, although some really beautiful tortured fics did cross my path... Although now that I think about it, it was usually a Harry/Draco hurt/comfort, with Lucius/Draco in the past. Sorry, no drabble here, since it would be dark and painful and I just don't want to go there.
Fred/George - While parent-child incest makes me cringe, twincest gets me all hot and bothered. ;) I know, I know - I'm inconsistent. But dude, no one can resist the double-flavor of twins! I've never written these two, so I'll definitely try a drabble for them.
Charlie/Bill - I have read a few of these that were sweet, with the two boys as teenagers and best friends, discovering sex together... Charlie's always resonated more for me than Bill, so I'll see what I can do. It's not a pairing I've read much of, but it's not a turn off either. I think I kind of like the idea of this one... Will try to drabble for you.
Ron/Bill - While I can get behind Harry/Bill (and don't have an age problem there [well, not one that stops me]), and I can endorse Charlie/Bill and therefore don't have a problem with Bill fucking his brother... I can't picture him with Ron. I'm sorry! Ron is just straight straight *straight* to me.

I understand about the no FPS, and pleased you would consider Eric/Ewan. That is, right now, the only RPS pairing I think I would write. (Okay, I am mildly tempted to write a Men in Short Skirts sequel, since Karl and Eric have so much more to learn about each other... *sighs*)
Here's the real thing about Eric and Ewan, size kink and gorgeous men and accent heaven aside.(It's my bunny, but I'm perfectly willing to share since the idea has so many possibilities):
They're both total petrolheads. Speedfreaks. In a serious way. I think Eric is more into the mechanics than Ewan; he likes to work on his cars. And Ewan is even more into motorbikes than Eric; Eric likes cars and bikes alike. But they both love speed, (to paraphrase Tom Lincoln "anything that gets the wind in their hair") both race for fun and competition, Ewan has done his motorbike trip around the world, Eric races in weekend-long stock car derbies. Ewan owns something like six bikes, including a BMW and a Triumph. Eric has at least one Ducati and several cars he races.
They both look really hot with a rumbling, powerful engine between their legs. Both look great in their leathers. *caution - viewing pics of both Eric and Ewan in leathers during the same sitting could cause dangerous ovary explosions*
Now, are you going to tell me they spent 5 months in Morocco, filming an ensemble piece so they weren't constantly needed on set all the time, and never once got hold of a couple of bikes and headed out into the desert for a spin? And maybe one of the bikes ran out of gas or got a flat or crashed, and they had to both ride on the same bike. And then maybe it got dark or there was a sand storm and they had to stop and seek shelter for the night?
Call me a rabid slasher, but this scenario seems too obvious for words. I think images would be good though. Maybe words designed to evoke certain images.
Ewan shows marked signs of being bottomy with women, but I could see him topping Eric. I can picture it right now... oh, shit, I've set off the smoke alarms!!!
I could also see Eric

Doesn't seem realistic to me either, and I woudl think would limit the amount of sex to be had...and I don't like to think about these boys going without...lmao!

Date: 2005-09-23 02:42 am (UTC)Orlando was into games. Bungee jumping and the like. Fun stuff. I don't recall him ever being into bikes or cars. He doesn't have the background. Eric's first race was in the first car he ever bought. (I think he still owns it.) Ewan got hooked on extreme journeys after doing a documentary in Northern Ontario. (I'm talking way WAY north - shores of Hudson Bay north) but he's always liked bikes. It's a different sort of kick. Not really thrill seeking. More specifically speed seeking. Power seeking. *minor breakdown*
Of course, petrolheads are notoriously boring. They like to talk about all the little gadgets and stats and know the model numbers of their shock absorbers and like to quote the facts and figures about their carbeurators. Snore. Just put on the leather and get on the fucking bikes, boys.
Feel free to play with drabble all you like. I think there could be dozens of variations without repetition or boredom.
Leather... Eric... Ewan... size difference... bent over the seat... sweat... cuddling for warmth in cold desert night... leather being unzipped... is that a piston in your pocket or are just happy to be sharing a sleeping bag with me?
