sailing and *really* amazing article

I went sailing for the first time ever today. Four hours, and I was mostly fine until we got mired in fog and I couldn't see land and OMG was I nauseous. Still felt a bit off for the rest of the trip, but not so bad once we got out of the fog.

On the down side, I've been off the boat for five hours now and I *still* feel a rocking motion every time I sit still. Or move my head too fast. Yuck.


But what I've really wanted to share with you all is the FANTASTIC article I read. It's part of a pagan newsletter I read every month, so it's got that angle, but it's about about group dynamics and just *people* and how to deal with them. I think that for a lot of what is said, one could easily substitute "slash community" for "pagan community", which makes it even more interesting. If anyone wants to discuss, please comment away.

I started to read the first article, but it reminded me too much of fandom bullshit. Had to stop for sake of my own sanity. I'm much better off working on my Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon fic anyway... *waits for moans to die down*
