2 - I can't tell what's going on with 50kinkyways since my tags have disappeared and I can't edit my own posts.

3 - I can't figure out what's happening with some LJ comments/conversations

4 - And I didn't get the job. They said it was close. I know it's for the best and I'll find something better. But I'm still disappointed.

I'm sorry for the job, but I'm sure you'll find something better, like you said. :) Always keep looking at the positive side of things - this way you have more time to write more kinky slash ;)

And then your userpics and comments-problem is something LJ wide at the moment. They moved the datacenter from Seattle to the new offices in San Francisco. So that's where the problems come from. You might want to check here for updated information. Aside for that, I hope everything is back to normal soon because I hate not getting a notification when someone answers a comment, I'm losing track of a few conversations *hmrl* :S

BTW...I just got my copy of the Degrees book...have you heard of it? Bunch of pictures of celebrities...most importantly...Orlando stipping down to his boxers...anyway...a very nice picture of Ewan in there too. If I can wrassle the book into the scanner, I'll scan it for you...if you don't have it. Can't do it until saturday/sunday though...leaving town to do the Thanksgiving thing.

Same thing happened to me. I was uploading a new icon, and a black and white picture of two people sitting at a kitchen table turned up instead. And then it turned into a picture of some guy. Not even a cute guy. I deleted the bad icons from my userpics, waited a couple of days, and reloaded the correct pictures. They seem to be working okay now.

I'm not sure who got the above icon by accident...*snerk*

I had to delete one of my animated ones, and reload it...it didn't change but it just wasn't showing up. Would have loved to have seen the face of the person who might have ended up with it *wink*

I have noticed weird things going on on LJ too. Like icons not appearing or trying to connect to a link and it can't find the data the first time but the second time it can... I think it's haunted...*eek!*

Well then clearly it was a learning experience! It's always so wonderful when things become clear to you.

I worked at shitty companies for years and then I took 8 months off and cleared my head. (It was supposed to be three, so yeah, I was really out of money at the end.) When I went back, I was offered several jobs and listened to my heart and took my current one - which was with an amazing company.

Well, until our move last August... Since then the boss seems to have been on permanent freak-out and we spent her vacation this week plotting an intervention if it doesn't get better. *sigh* *grumble* *knashes teeth*

Hang in there. I've seen times where the first candidate didn't work out, and they offered to the second one who worked out perfectly. Don't wait on them, but don't totally give up either. The timing might just be off for both of you.

Timing - Not only is the timing off, I had a realization yesterday that it's pretty much exactly the same job I have now - a job I don't like. Why did I even apply for it? DUH. I have faith something better will happen.
