The day Ewan bought a collar for Eric, he realized it was more than just shagging a mate in his free time.

Eric had a collar already, of course; he had three. One he'd bought himself; two had been gifts over the years. He was quite firm about the collar always going on *first*, before any submissive play on his part.

It wasn't that Eric liked it, so much as that he *needed* it, required it. It was the first step in the game, the ritual that defined the framework within which he knew, not what to expect, but what was expected of him.

Almost all of the collars and restraints Eric owned were leather: a few had spikes and most of the others had decorative grommets or metal bits. Fancy.

The one Ewan bought for Eric was black. Plain, black leather, with a large ring at the end and nothing else.

Ewan used to think rituals were a load of bollocks, but now he knows better. Tonight when he fastens the collar around Eric's neck, that's all it will take to see in those brown eyes a soul willing to submit to his every whim.

Heheheh! No, heartofslash and I are alternating each one - I write Ewan's POV and she writes Eric's. I've just been posting them in my journal and at 50kinkyways so they're all the same style and in the same place. It seemed easier. She'll host them all when they're finished, too.

(Went to see Syriana last night and it was packed so we were near the front and the trailer for Munich was HUGE. Blue had to hold my arm to keep me from flailing too much. She turned to me after the trailer with a look of wonder in her eyes and said "He's beautiful!" so I smacked her and said "Duh, that's what I've been telling your for over a year!" and she said "Yeah, but he can act and he's beautiful." *tackles Eric and rubs him all over Ewan*

STEAMS and waits impatiently... We get Syriana next week, and haven't seen 'the Ad' so we're 'making do' (which is a damn quaint phrase) with DVDS and tonight was BHD featuring Big Beautiful Him, a Medium Greeneyed Redhead, and the rest of the man show!
