Exchange/Offer of Services
Mar. 31st, 2005 07:23 pmSo both my birthday and xmas are pretty far away at this point, but maybe some of you would be up for an exchange of services?
What I'd like to ask for is for people to help me make mixed cds. I suck at thinking up songs to put on a mix, and am just no good at that kind of thing. I would LOVE a mixed cd of explicitly BDSM referencing songs (like "Happiness in Slavery" by Nine Inch Nails and "Hanky Panky" by Madonna). [Weak songs that may or may not count would be "Peek-a-boo" by Siouixie and the Banshees].
I would also love to have two cds of "drag queen classics" music -– one of disco, and one of songs that aren't disco.
So about 14 songs, and anyone can contribute to the list.
Or if someone wants to make the mp3s available, that's cool; otherwise names and titles of songs work.
Or if someone feels inclined, you can email them for me to download.
A few other things I would really love are:, in no particular order,
* an LJ layout other than the basics
* graphics for some of my fics
* and some suggestions/help on how to spiff up my website with graphics and stuff
* someone to hand-hold me on Y!M or email while I learn how to do any of the above in photoshop and the LJ custom layouts thingummy
In exchange, I will offer my services for writing ficlets.
Pairing of your choice, rating of your choice, genre of your choice (think movie genres – romance, comedy, action, drama, etc), and kink element of your choice (if you want kink – not required!).
The only things I can't or won't write are mpreg and deathfic. I'll even write angst if you want. I'll write sap, humor. I'm not good at sticking to drabble length, but I'll probably stay under 1000 words.
Feel free to throw your slightly-obscure requests at me. I won't limit the characters I'll do; I'll even do hobbitslash if you ask. But if a pairing or something is just *too* weird for me (difficult to do, but possible), I'll let you know.
OH - and if anyone wants to write me VigBean with kink AND romance, nc-17, or rec me some, that would be great! (Or the same kind of thing for BanaBean.)
One more thing - if anyone wants to just request a ficlet but doesn't know any songs and sucks with Photoshop as much as I do, that's cool too. You don't have to participate in the song list in order to get a ficlet of your choice.
