5 good things
Sep. 21st, 2007 09:15 amWell, I could post about the six enormous things that are making me so stressed/upset/miserable that I have a big ball of tension that makes me feel like puking the moment I wake up in the morning.
But who wants to read that, really? LJ is already full of enough negativity.
So instead of that, here are Five Good Things:
1. Tea. Milk, sugar, and tea. God I love tea. I don't know why, it just makes me feel all cozy and elite and British.
2. Autumn weather. It finally stopped being unbearably hot and there's even a touch of moisture to the air, and dew on the cars in the morning.
3. Interview with FOB and P!ATD, or at least Patrick/Pete/Ryan/Brendon. Could anything be cuter than those four laughing and joking with each other? Answer: Not even close.
4. Decent assignment from
ficrocksthe80s. And some time to write even, once I decide on a fandom and pairing.
5. New custom perfume I blended named "Cuivienen" because yes, I am that much of a geek. It's got oak moss, vetiver, bergamot, ylang ylang, and something else in it and it smells like a patch of flowers deep in the forest. I love it.
Finally, I challenge everyone reading this (*especially* if you feel mired in your own misery) to come up with 5 good things and post them to your blog.
You'll feel a tiny bit better afterward. I promise.
