writing woes

Argh! Twenty-two pages and I'm just getting tot he good stuff. Sure, it's a lot of dialog, but goddamn are these boys moving slowly. Stupid angst. I sitll have three smutty bits and one angsty bit to get through.

Also - why oh why does every fest/challenge that I sign up for turn into a hugely long fic, overflowing with emo angst??? On my own, I write shortish pieces that are either first-time humor or kinky. WTF is it about fests that tweaks that and WHY DOESN'T ANYONE STOP ME???

OTOH, I'm so loving my shiny new toys. And since I was in Jensen's head for the last one, it's kind of fun to be in Jared's this time. :)
