death, destruction, catastrophe, mayhem, despair!

my husband got laid off.

and yes, i'm doing the good wife thing and being supportive and calm and reassuring, but i just needed somewhere to post that when he's not around I'M SO FREAKING OUT.

i know it will work out. i just don't know how yet.

Oh, love...I'm so sorry to hear that....it's just so horrid and stressful and...horrid. And I feel so inarticulate...

What does he do? Are there other prospects out there? And bless you, by the way, for being calm and understanding when he's there...he so needs that. And that's what we're here for, to vent...and to give support.

And yes. It will work out.

He's lucky to have you. I'm around, more after Sunday, but am around...let me know if you want to talk.

blessed be,
Olivia

Thanks for the sympathy and the support. :)

He's a tech-writer, but not sure if he wants to keep doing that. He's decided to spend some time trying to figure out what else he might want to do, and meanwhile part-time teaching at the University. I'm still on for the school-work plan, and we're trying to remain calm.

We'll get through it - I just needed to vent. (And probably will, again.)
