In the incest realm within the LotR fandome, I generally stick with Elladan/Elrohir. I *did* read Helena's Bean-cest offering and I thought she did an excellent job with all the psychological issues in that particular story. And I once read an Eomer/Eowyn fic that we pretty good. :)
So, yeah, that doesn't really answer the question of why twincest is generally much more appealing than any other kind of incest. (Ooh - I almost forgot that I *wrote* Troy-cest, with Hector and Paris. Silly me.) Hmm, still not addressing the question at hand, though.
I'll go with "I don't know."
Younger men/boys ... my favorite Orlando is Ned Kelly-era Orlando. He's so grown up now and is still enjoyable, but there's something about the way he looked then that sends shivers down my spine. (The good kind of shivers!)
