short update

surgery went well. the tumor is gone. he'll be in the hospital until monday. i'll be stuck here in modesto for another few weeks, off and on, since he cna't be left alone. no one will tell us how long though, weeks or months. very frustrating to try and plan caregiving.

i'm tired but relieved and things went really well today. also the reiki treatments seem to make him feel a lot better, and me too.

thank you to everyone for the thoughts. i'm sorry if my replies are short - i'm just so drained.

oh, and i wrote graphic and slightly kinky smut in the waiting room. it felt deliciously perverse.

I know, I know. this was the stressful and worrisome part, but it's not over. *cries* i wish there was anything anyone could do, but it's all just clean house and take care and somehow try to keep living my life/starting my business/etc.

I hadn't expected *any* response. You were/are bound to feel tired and overwhelmed. Don't forget to take the time to take care of yourself. By doing things like writting graphic fiction in the hospital waiting room. can't think of a better thing to do there.
