Jack/Will

Title: Sin and the Sea

My Comments: So funny I think I pulled a muscle laughing the first time I read this. Every bad pirate cliche you've ever heard of, all rolled into one story. It's a work of art. It makes me weep with joy.

Author's Summary: "Will teaches Jack something."
My Comments: I love when it takes them a while to stop being *men* and get together. This one is lovely, and the style is unique.

Title: "Contradictions" series
Author: Veronica Rich
Pairing: Jack/Will
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "This is an AU fic, breaking off from the movie's events immediately after Barbossa's defeat and death in the caves of Isla de Muerta. It's about eight months later."
My Comments: This is one of those long, juicy stories of adventure and slowly developing lust and love. It definitely pays off in the end!

My Comments: GUH. Jack, Norrington, prisoner/guest, too much rum, and just GUH. Yeah. It's also a lovely James, and nicely historical, too.

Title: "Best Laid Plans" and sequel

Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "The best plans for getting laid are usually spontaneously and serendipitously formed; Jack Sparrow seeks out the Commodore for a hands-on demonstration. The result?"
My Comments: Yummy back-and-forth with Jack and James, one of those really tasty smutty scenes that stays with you all day. *g* Don't forget to check out the picture that inspired it all, by the Theban Band.

Title: "Your Move" series

My Comments: I'm not usually a big fan of James, but he's perfect here, and his angst and lust are delicious. And Jack, well, how can you not love a romantic but still piratey Jack? (I know I don't rec WIPS, but this one might never be finished and it's brilliant. Keep checking her LJ.

My Comments: Just a brief interlude with Elizabeth, but if you're totally het-phobic, skip that bit. It's wonderful though, realistic and hot, and very well written.

Title: The Pirate Way

Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "There is some subtext you just can't ignore..."
My Comments: This is one of three fics that turned me on to POTC slash. It's long - 100 chapters, with some various epilogues and side bits. It's brilliant. Touching and funny and hot and kinky - but my favorite part is how slowly Haleth develops their relationship, the constant discoveries of each other (the emotional stuff as well as Will's continual loss of 'virginity'), and the imperfections of each other. And of course, the screamingly, blisteringly HOT sex is much appreciated as well. I wish POTC2 had used this for the script. *g*

Title: "Intercepted" Series
Author: Lostiawen
Pairing(s): Jack/Will, Jack/Boostrap
Rating: NC-17
Author's Summary: "So what *did* Will and Jack do while they were alone on the Interceptor?"
My Comments: The sexual tension, the sex, the kink, the angst... It's just brilliant. And hot, did I say that? Oh yeah. Will, all tied up? A deliciously long and tasty story.
