I've been quite negative and bitchy lately and I'd like to apologize for inflicting that on your eyeballs. I'm going to make an effort to be more cheerful.

Five Good Things *Right Now*:

1) Sunny morning, no wind, looks like it will be warm.
2) Man and Beast snoring on the bed in the other room.
3) Wonder Woman jammies
4) My totally awesome haircut is totally awesomely vertical in the mornings.

Good things. Wow, I keep forgetting about that. In one of my classes they tell us to document every day at least a couple of good things that happen to us every day. It seems like a silly exercise but I'll bet it works. I should do it.

Totally awesome hair cut?! What did you get? I got my haircut 2 weeks ago and I'm not that excited about it, although I do have *bangs* now which I LOVE. I have very curly hair, and I straighten it when I'm going out on the town, but for every day wear I keep it curly. But it's incredibly difficult to get a decent haircut. The ONLY hairsylist that's ever given me the greatest cut is in Seattle. I've flown up to see her twice in 2 years, but it's a little bit prohibitive money wise to fly to Seattle every time I need a haircut. ;p

It really changes your POV to just sit and think of 5 things that are good *rightnow* with no bearing on the future.

My hair is curly and I'm very low-maintenance so I never straighten it. My friend is a hairdresser and so now it's about earlobe length, very curly and fluffy, brushed straight back (which gives it some body), and then some little bits pulled across the front for spiral-curl "bangs." Next time I think I look sexy, I'll take a picture. ;)
