It's not only this chapter/piece but the last one as well. I can't really tell, I just have the feeling that you are now more comfortable with the entire BDSM scene, the mind-games, your couple, even the love between Ewan/Eric. Your writing sounds just so much better since the last piece. At least in my humble opinion. ^_^
