yet another pointless poll!

Well, despite the progesterone cream being intended to prevent this, I've been curled up in a ball of misery all day with either cramps/pain or brainfog from pain meds.

And I've wanted something long and juicy to read (I know I should be writing - hush). I've several fics bookmarked that everyone says are fabulous, but I haven't gotten around to reading for whatever reason. So tell me which one *you* think I should read the most:

I can't vote (I've never read a Harry Potter story) and right now I can't think of a long LOTR story to recommend. But I do hope you feel better soon. Cramps and medication fogginess is something I'm all too familiar with so here's hoping you see the back of them quickly.

For long juicy fics that are good to read when you aren't feeling good, I would recommend spnharlequin, which has a bunch of really great stories based on harlequin novel blurbs. These are all slash RPF AU's, so you don't need to know any canon, and they all have that feel-good harlequin vibe to them.

If it's the same Roman Holiday by Anna over on witchfics, it's Hermione/Draco and Hermione/Snape. I actually loved that fic, in all its Mary Sue glory. LOL.
