F-list, I need your expertise!

I have this story. In it are some letters/handwriting bits. As I've written it in MS Word, I've used various fonts for the handwriting.

Is there any way to get that to work in LJ?
Do I make a .gif of the handwriting bits and include them as images?
Is there any easier way?

Anyone know????

I agree. If you try to use a "fancy font", your readers may not necessarily see it unless they have the same font installed on there system. Hence, I provided the font to the readers for Arianne's A.S. But there may be some who don't want to install more fonts. They take up a fair amount of room.

I actually did this once in a fic, but there were only a few .gifs.

I'd suggest making images of the handwriting parts, too. There's no guarantee everyone reading your post will have all of those fonts, and it's safer to use an image. :)

Good point - and it wasn't as difficult as I'd thought it would be. Hopefully it won't look too weird on people's screens as they read.
