Update, update.... Hm...

- I finished writing and posting the long H/D that got totally out of control. Had forgotten how very much time it takes to edit, post, fix apostrophe and quotation marks, crosspost, reply to lovely comments etc. Am feeling a bit reluctant to start on the next fic, H/S, R/C.

- Holiday with Dad and Grandmother went all right. Food turned out well, aside from some minor issues. Brining the turkey seemed like a pointless exercise that didn't do anything but make the turkey taste of the brine juice. Father's house still depressing, in the active-verb sense of the word. I think my 84 year old grandmother is more mentally acute than he is, at 61.

- Work stuff moving forward slowly but surely... Blah blah blah...

So cheer me up - there's a memey thing going around one of my communities, "You Know You're Reading a Fic by -authorname- When..."

Comment and give me one item for the list until we get to "10 Signs You Are Reading A Fic By salixbabylon," please.

Should be interesting to see what other people think my trademark writing quirks are, since I haven't a clue.
