Today is my anniversary - I've had an LJ account for 5 years exactly.

Been part of several fandoms, although only 3 to any serious extent. Met some awesome, wonderful, fantastic people - online and face to face. No burns from flamewars anywhere on my person. ;)

Wow. Five years. Half a decade.

And I can't really imagine my life without it...

I am officially OFF school for two weeks because both of my spring term courses are online - they don't even come with the lectures on CD. I have to wait until May 5th to access any course materials beyond the textbooks. And one of the text books is Dr. Seuss's "Snitches and other stories"!!! I'm going to love linguistics!

So I'm... normal-busy. Wow. Feels like a holiday.

Hey congratulations! Five years ... that's fabulous.

As for hot sex, I don't think I've read anything hotter than "The Ol' Switcheroo" (possibly my favorite fandom story ever) and/or "You Shouldn't Have", both H/D, both PWP, and both by Aspen. Smoking! (In fact, I just had to reread them both again.) I imagine you've read these already, just in case not, they're not posted publicly, but you can join Aspen's community privetdrive to read them.

I don't know if it's because I rarely have the time these days to sink into a long novel, but there's something about the PWP genre that just gets right to the point and no one writes it better than she does. ;)
