denial and tea leaves

salixbabylonok. i should know better than to babble on the internet when i'm sleep-deprived.
so i'm just going to announce that the purpose of this lj is mostly fandom-related stuff. and if someone is reading this who had been a friend for the last 10+ years, consider yourselves warned. this is my outlet for Extreme Fan Wankiness.

so i'm just going to pretend that my Real Life isn't cross-pollinating with my fan-life. la la la, i can't see you.
ok - so on wednesday night we did tea leaf readings. it was SO COOL! usually i just really get agro about divination becuase i'm afraid i'm doing it wrong. but tea leaves - you can't do it wrong! it's like looking at clouds and then figuring out what the symbols mean.
so either Trelawney is an awful teacher (duh) or those boys are seriously not even trying (also duh, given their ages).
but i had a blast. plus, you know, any excuse for a tea party!
so far - finished making an html tagged version of VS. now to get up the guts to send email to Walking the Plank and the Restricted Section.
also been toying with making a page at slashcity... seems unnecessary though. i just hate losing all my nice formatting at the free archives.
this weekend to-do:
submit VS
update bookmarks
find out what happened with fin aid loans
homework
take crap to goodwill
buy curtains for living room
husband/dog walk
husband *cough*
