Disclaimer: I am a complete slash whore. I will read any pairing and I mostly only read NC-17 fics. I avoid Het and Gen and FPS in this fandom like they're toxic. (Usually. Except sometimes when I can't help it.)
I've tried to include some comments about what I liked about a fic, but sometimes what I liked is that I got off on it and well, um, that's about it.
Some of this stuff gets mighty kinky, and I've tired to include some kind of warnings.

My Comments: Utterly cracktastic. Yes, the summary kind of sounds like kiddie porn but *no* it's totally not. It's also totally hysterical, like sides-hurt-from-laughing-and-tears-stream-down-your-face. Everyone on earth should read this.

My Comments: It's one of those fics that sounds melodramatic, but the angst is handled so delicately that you don't even notice it. The tension between the two is brilliant and when it snaps it's *so* good. Really great, plausible characterizations.

Warnings: Deals with eating disorders, self-harm, religious themes and homophobia.
My Comments: I almost never read hurt/comfort and I definitely don't do eating disorder fics. But for some reason I gave this story a try and wow - it knocked my socks off. It's one of the best stories I've ever read, in any format. Despite the psychological issues, Jensen isn't girly at all. It kind of broke my heart, but the author managed to put it back together again at the end.

My Comments: This fic was recced to me when I knew nothing about the fandom and hadn't ever watched the show. It's a truly excellent story, with or without the sexy visual aides. ;) Also, there are a few outtakes to the story, Home is Where the Holiday Is and Say What You Need.

My Comments: So incredibly hot. The style is deliciously restrained and shows a wonderful understanding of D/s headspace - some of the best I've ever read. Start at the beginning. Read everything. There's more here and here, Challenge.

My Comments: Kind of a meandering path from sex-with-a-friend (Chris) to something more (Jared). Atmospheric, with super believable realistic characterizations that suck you right in. One of my favorite portrayals of Jensen.
