Things have been kind of icky but not in a dramatic sort of way. No loss of life or mass destruction of personal property, so we'll just go forward from here, yeah?

Right then...

1. When is "twilight" exactly? I think I'm going to devote the next few weeks to the study of what exact shade of darkness the sky must achieve to be considered "twilight".

(This sort of makes me sound deep, but I think mojitos might be called into play. So don't be fooled.)

2. I am now caught up on Torchwood. Wow. Just... wow. I'm all wibbly now.

3. Country western songs should not be allowed at Jazzercize class. Nope, not even the "funny" ones about getting a new girlfriend and being nauseating. Just no. You can make me dance around but you cannot make me stop rolling my eyes. :P

4. My September trip to London has been pushed back to December. Anyone have any comments on why this is way more awesome than going in the summer and/or going to be an utter disaster and I should try to reschedule again?

5. Self marketing = such deep hatred. No, seriously.

6. Today I took a test at the county building to see if I was capable of being a library clerk. Not only did I pretty much ace the test, but I also watched a very invigorating game of basketball, shirts versus skins.

And when I say "invigorating", I mean that in the most lustful-drooling-"OMFG did you see that *one* guy???"-OMGhipdivots kind of way.

Thus proving that not only am I capable of sorting out complex numerical and alphabetical files, but that I can do it while perving over hot manflesh at the same time.

Why? Because I rock at multitasking. Clearly.

Because the Christmas decorations at Harrods are fucking awesome. And it might snow. And it's brilliant wearing a hat and walking through darkness, snow and Christmas lights in London. It's much more 'Dickensian'. (Am I allowed to use 'fucking' and 'Dickensian' in the same paragraph?)

Well, you'll get cold and probably rain (snow unlikely in london) in December but you're not guaranteed good weather in september either. On the other hand it'll be (a bit) less crowded and the cristmas decorations around town can be pretty. Depends on what you're planning to do really.

LOL! OMG, that map is so true! I am a religious nutball, apparently. I am always irritated that Chicago gets forgotten as a MAJOR CITY. And not just by Californians. If we counted our suburbs the way LA does, we'd still be "Second City". Damn cheaters. Heh.

There were some timing conflicts with the other people who own the flat and when their kids had vacation time, and we could either have 10 days in September or 3 weeks in December. So I think it's going to be a Dickensian Xmas. ;)

I can handle cold and rain, I was just afraid of snow up to my knees, no working transit, and everything fun being closed. Like museums and plays and stuff. And friends being busy with family. But we'll go and see and I bet it will be a ton of fun, no matter what. And I bet the decorations will be awesome. Just think - not one light-strewn palm tree in all of London, I bet. :)

Museums plays and stuff are year round and a good way to hide from the cold and rain. For snow up to the knees try Yorkshire, can't remember last time we had snow that heavy if it's a couple of inches deep and settles for more than an hr then everybody is outside trying to make snowmen and taking photos ;p

The no working transit can happen at any given time for many and varied rreasons leaves on the line and the wrong kind of snow being a couple of old favourites but there's usually alternatives, the times when it's best to just stay in bed is when the tube network is down which only happens when either someone tries to blow us up (not as common as you'd think) or they go on strike (not that common either *touch wood*).

Ah yes Doctor Who so are you going for New!Who or trying to get the whole 30 odd yrs of the classic series as well? ;p Is it saturday yet? *twitches*

Okay for DT in Hamlet it's going to be hard as it is a limited season the RSC members presale is open now and a lot of the tkts will go then. Public booking opens in Sept (12th I think) and you will have to be very quick. Having said that managed to get great seats for Lear through the public booking even if did have to spend an hr hitting the redial button!

Oliver is on sale now and booking up fast so if you want to go best to pick a date and get the tkts asap.

Oh and Barrowman panto tkts also on sale - your best bet is going to be a weekday matinee as a lot of the shows are sold out already

And I know way too much about this *facepalm*
