So many new friends in the last month - hi!

Little bits about me:

I'm 35. I live in Northern California. I've been with my partner since I was 20. I am the proud owner of the Best Dog Ever.

I've been into slash since 2002, various fandoms including: Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Star Wars, Troy, Torchwood, and tons and tons of Real Person Slash. Lately, I've been head over heels for Supernatural, mostly RPS but a bit of humorous gen too. I write, I squee, and I'm pretty good at using tags religiously. My Fic Index is up to date.

In non-fandom life...

I've had a few stories published with Dreamspinner Press, and I do some editing for them too. They're awesome - go check them out! Send your fics for the calls for submissions - there are some yummy anthologies coming up.

My "day job" is sexuality and relationship coaching - at http://www.thewantonhussy.com. I work with people mostly on communication and body image, and help them turn sex back into something fun rather than something emotionally fraught. In August I published my first non-fiction book, Wanton Hussy's Guide to Getting the Sex Life You Always Wanted, which I'm pretty proud of.

I spend the rest of my time going to Jazzercise, walking around the park, cooking, doing witchy pagan stuff, and of course, feeding my slashy addictions.

I manage the community slashyhomemaker, for those who enjoy both naked boys and new recipes. :)

Finally, if anyone feels at some point that they want to defriend me because we don't have much in common, then please feel free. I'm not a drama queen and won't take it too personally.

Hiya! That new friend meme was cool — I think we have a few things in common, it'll be fun to get to know you.

I grew up in the Bay Area & loved it there except for the constant crowds & traffic. Can't beat the NoCal weather & variety of things to do/places to go (well, maybe in the PNW). Congrats on 15 years, that ain't easy! :)

Think I'll have to visit both Dreamspinner & slashyhomemaker a time or two . . . nice, very nice (& I haven't seen more on s/h than the recipes so far!)

I do love the Bay Area, although anything coastal is lovely, IMO. Are you still in the area at all?

And thank you - sometimes it's inertia, but msotly we still really like being together. :)

slashyhomemaker - You have to join to see the porn. That allows me to keep underage kids away/livejournal from shutting it down.

Nope, I moved to Portland, OR about 20 years ago. It just started to feel like Home in the last few year (right after Kiddo graduated, go figure!), so I think I'm staying.

Thanks! I wish I could make icons this good — but anything with Dean/Jensen's face on it can't be bad, eh? Plot? Does it say something about plot? *snicker*
