Let's see how many people can do this. Every day this month until Thanksgiving, think of one thing that you are thankful for and post it as your status. "Today I am thankful for..." The longer you do it, the harder it gets! Now, if you think you can do it, then repost this message as your status to invite others to take the challenge, then post what YOU are thankful for today.

Day 7 - Today I am thankful for the abundance and diversity of food available to me. (I was at Whole Foods last night and they have SKYR!) I live in a place where produce is cheap and local, and organic alternatives are available everywhere. Eating well is almost as easy as eating junk, and this realization is making me resolve to start putting better things in my body.

Huzzah for good food! Eating well and in season actually tastes better than all the crud out there in the stores too! Whole Foods is much maligned, but their prices for pastured meat and their own brand are actually pretty good.

It's so true. The fresh local produce at the local shops is so much better than the "fresh local" at Safeway. I'll have to compate meat prices - lately I've been just looking at veggies and fruit.
