working on recs list & beast with spider

I thought I had something to say today, but I really don't.

I've spent the last two days going over old links and saved fics, trying to create a recs list... I apparently have no sense of discrimination. I like good fics, bad fics, rauncy fics, sweet fluffy romantic fics, hard, cold BDSM fics, all of it. Any paring, all pairings, everyone all together, or solo masturbation. All I seem to require is that a fic have a good idea and not be so poorly written that I can't read it.

But no het or gen. Ever. Ick.

I always knew I was a slut. Now I have proof.

So, recs pages, hopefully within a week or so... I had no idea it was going to be so much work browsing back through everything I've read and then getting the relevant information for each fic, and then coding it. I'm amazed at authors who don't write summaries, or pairings lists, or ratings, or or or...

This would be a perfect activity for a rainy weekend... *cross fingers* Maybe it will rain tomorrow...

Oh yeah. The problem at this point is weeding out the fics I really really REALLY liked from the one that were ok but not spectacular. Otherwise I'd have a list miles long.

Yay! More pet pictures!

Yeah, the spider made me really happy post-ROTK. All 3 times I saw that movie in the theaters, I had to carefully not look at the spider. And then we would go home and "KILL THE SPIDER, OSWALD!" Very cathartic for arachnophobes forced to watch Shelob and Aragog in movies.

Plenty of BDSM on my list. Good to know I'm not alone in my pervy tastes. ;)
