I like the sugar cubes for both the fact that someone went to the effort of doing seven colours for the spectrun even though the pride flag stops at 6 and well the obvious.
I don't like the kid with the placard but that's more that I have issues with parents indoctrinating kids and using them to advance *their* agenda (don't believe a kid that age actually knows what marriage is (I don't believe a lot of grown ups know what marriage is) or indeed cares past the next chocolate bar). However, I am glad that this, at least, is one kid getting indoctrinated with tolerance not hate. That does make a nice change
*giggle* The sugar cubes are a hit! And while I agree about children promoting their parent's docterins, I HAVE definitely known little kids with a best friend of the same sex that they say want to marry. At that age when they're just beginning to understand love and friendship, they don't "get" that marriage is male/female. I think that's wonderful, myself. :)
(But it's not the same as feeling strongly enough to make a banner and go march in protest...)
One thing (you may or may not know) do you guys still have don't ask don't tell? Not remotely about the same thing but something I was wondering recently.
