I'm all caught up on my current shows and need new ones!

Tell me your favorite underappreciated/unknown TV show that I should download and watch, please?

Notes: I do not do anything about serial murderers or bloodshed or gore. Or much drama. And I'm already watching Castle, Hawaii 5-O, Community, Big Bang Theory, White Collar, Burn Notice, Leverage, Chuck, Black Books, Once Upon a Time, Cougar Town, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Warehouse 13, and The Guild. (I've given up on Supernatural, Torchwood, and Merlin, sorry, but if you can make a case for the last season being spectacular, I might be persuaded to give them another try.)

What is so awesome that I should totally be watching it?

Hopefully you enjoy it :D Also, I would have to add a vote for Grimm too. I'm really enjoying that, kinda makes me Buffy nostalgic on a different level.

Parks and Recreation is a great show. The first season you can probably skip but the second season onward has been comedy gold imo.

Also, Modern Family. It's a feel good comedy and focuses on a new kind of family unit. When it comes to funny tv this, Parks & Rec and Community are my go-tos.

I'm not sure my OCD can handle skipping a season, but I'll try. ;)

I'll those both a try - thank you!

Sorry the comment was so short, I was in a real hurry but I didn't want not to put this down. Honestly, I don't know when last I enjoyed a TV show as much, and there are not even characters I want to pair off or something. I think it's the language. Especially Maggie Smith is - Wildesque!

Enjoy!

Some that I love:
A Gifted Man: There is so much crammed into each episode! Maybe a bit too much drama, but the characters are great!

Suits: Another USA show. By the third episode, I had easily 5 couples I could slash ;)

Grimm: This is everything that Once Upon a Time isn't. I heart this show so much more than that other one. A bit more hard core, but creepy is played up more than bloodshed.

I second Modern Family. Half hour show of silly :)

You probably only want shows that are currently airing? If that isn't a factor, take a peek at Brothers and Sisters. Takes a few episodes to warm up.

Suits and Modern Family definitely if you are trying to avoid drama ;)

I second Homeland and Downton Abbey. And add The Borgias because it's not long and features the kinkiest slashy scene I ever saw on telly.

Oooh, I forgot someone had recced the Borgias a while ago. I'll check those out! :)

SUITS. SUITS SUITS SUITS SUITS SUITS SUITS SUITS. X 15489746515798. Suits. *nods* I kinda like it??? LOL

And 'The Closer'. It's absolutely fabulous, lol funny in parts, hand-over-the-mouth, oh-my-god-did-they-just-say/do-that??? in others. It's a cop show, but not as technical as CSI; it's more about behavior and police work, with some office politics thrown in. It's amazing.

So, watch it mpreg!

How about Suits? That's a great show and the classiness of it reminds me a lot of White Collar. I don't know when it's going to be back on the air, but please look out for it. I know it's been picked up for another season. It's a fine show about lawyers. I think you'd really like it.

Signing my name on Downton Abbey and The Borgias. Both wonderful and fantastic in their own way. I also loved the first season of Game of Thrones.

Oh, and this season of Merlin? According to Razzle it has "fucking adorable boyhugging, squishy angsty worrying self-sacrificing SWEATY MEDIEVAL BOYPORN". Just so you know. ;D

He's pretty little, just 6 months... so he had more fun playing with the paper and bows than the presents. I think next year will be more fun!
