The feedback on "Bananas" has been really overwhelming! I'm always so thrilled when people actually think I'm funny.
Sorry for the delay in responding - I've been trying to finish up a research paper - due tomorrow! And then I can leave tomorrow (WHOOHOOO) to go on vacation for four days!!!!!!!
Finally, I get a break! Haven't had one since June. "Summer fun" my ass :P
Hopefully the next writing project will be Educational Endeavors part 5. I deeply apologize to anyone who has been waiting (or has forgotten about it)... I just couldn't bring myself to make it angsty or plotless, and that was all i have been capable of since April.
Life is getting better though... School finishing for the summer (of course, the new Fall semester starts on Thursday the 26th), things with my husband seem to be improving... Health problems are semi-resolved = no more exploding ovaries.
Happinesses - saw a local version of "Lysistrata" which was a blast. More cock jokes than you can shake a stick at. Also, "Garden State" (movie) was a great date night movie. No angst, but not too sappy either. Listening to FOTR on cd in the car has been fantastic. And my friends and everyone have just been so great and supportive during this difficult time for me... Since... February. Anyway, thank you and I love you all! *smooch*

Date: 2004-08-19 04:34 pm (UTC)As for the movie, I really enjoyed it. It was quirky and weird, and had several moments where it could have done something really predictably melodramatic (rape/death/hurt kind of things) and it DIDN'T DO THAT. Yay!
I hope you like it!
