I so don't get the friends thing... So I friended two of you. I'm sorry if I did something weird and wrong.

Of course you can always just say that I don't have any friends. ;)

Welcome to the wonderful and addictive world of LJ!! The friends thing is a very easy thing...you "friend" whoever you want, and no one is ever offended by it, trust me... you can read their journals collectively by hitting the "friends" button on the menu bar once you log on...and if they have things they don't want the public reading, they will make it a "friends-only" post (that means only the people THEY have listed as friends can read it) or a private post...and I "friended" you back, by the way...

Just a few quick things...you can, if you like, post your fics on your LJ, then people can read them there, and you don't need to worry about the NC-17 thing...I think there's a 10000 word limit for posts, so VS would have to be chaptered or something, but it's very easy.

And also--what the heck did you do to your wrist that it's in a cast??

Welcome to LJ!! :). The friends thing is just a handy tool that lets you friend journals, which means they show up on your friends page, so you can follow updates in an easier way. If someone friends you back, you also get access to the posts that are friends-locked.
